The purpose of a spell bee contest is to help students improve their spellings, increase their vocabulary, learn concepts, and develop correct French usage that will help them throughout their lives.
Rules

Students will not be awarded any points for mistakes, even minor ones.

Participants will be provided with a note pad and a pencil. They are supposed to write down the word before they spell it in all the rounds.

The spelling that is pronounced must match the one written on the note pad.

The participant shall not ask any questions or seek any information about the word.

Once the participant begins to spell a word, they cannot retract the spelling or rewrite or
alter the letters or sequence of letters from those first uttered, otherwise no points will be awarded. -
The aggregate of the scores awarded by each judge will be considered as the final score of each participant.

The decision of the judges will be final and abiding.
